Marian Shved capped his Celtic debut with a goal as the Ukraine international struck in the latter stages of Tuesday's 2-0 win over Nomme Kalju.

The 22-year-old actually joined Celtic in January, but stayed on loan with Karpaty Lviv for the remainder of the 2018-19 campaign.

Shved has now linked up with the Scottish giants, though, and was on the scoresheet in the two-goal success in Estonia.

The Hoops recorded a 7-0 aggregate victory over Nomme Kalju and will now take on Romanian outfit Cluj in the Champions League third qualifying round.

After Tuesday's match, Shved, who made his Ukraine debut last November, gave an interview which was published on Celtic's official Twitter account.

And that led to a number of the Scottish side's supporters lavishing praise on the winger, with many tipping him to make a big impression during the 2019-20 campaign.
