Loads of Celtic fans have been reflecting on this weekend’s action, and they can’t quite believe how good Ryan Christie is becoming.

Celtic fans have been extremely patient with Christie, but the versatile youngster was about five more poor performances away from being branded a flop.

The 23-year-old signed for the Bhoys back in 2015, but has had to wait for his opportunity to break into the first team.

Since a rather poor display in the defeat at Salzburg earlier this season, he has gone from strength to strength throughout the campaign, and got himself on the scoresheet again this weekend.

He grabbed the all-important breakthrough in the 3-0 win at Hamilton, meaning he has now scored or assisted in each of his last eight games for club and country, a remarkable feat.

Last season’s loan spell at Aberdeen seems to have done him the world of good, so Brendan Rodgers deserves a lot of praise for the way he has handled his development.
