Celtic fans heap praise on red-hot Edouard

Loads of Celtic fans have been giving their verdict on Wednesday’s big win, and there’s plenty of praise for the ever-improving Odsonne Edouard.

For a player who was supposedly in bad form earlier this season, Edouard has an impressive nine goals at the start of November, and he was at it again on Wednesday.

The 20 year-old capped off a ruthless first half display from the Bhoys, scoring the fourth goal just moments before the interval.

The young Frenchman has struggled with injuries this season, but has fought through and bounced back in impressive style.

It was never going to be easy replacing the electric Mosusa Dembele, but Edouard is certainly getting there.

One area he does need to improve is his link-up play, as he often tends to go missing in games and then pop up with a goal.

He did provide a lovely assist for Ryan Christie on Wednesday though, and lots of fans are praising his improvement.

Brendan Rodgers’ decision to let Dembele go and trust Edouard to take over looked to be a huge mistake at first, but if the Frenchman keeps performing like he did on Wednesday then the gaffer will be well and truly vindicated.
