Celtic fans are experiencing an unbelievable mix of emotions this evening after the club both won the Scottish Cup final against Hearts and announced Neil Lennon has been offered the permanent job.
The Hoops won a thrilling match at Hampden 2-1 thanks to an Odsonne Edouard double and in the immediate aftermath confirmed on Twitter that Lennon is the man they’ve chosen to lead the club forward.

It’s fair to say it’s prompted a massive reaction from supporters and there’s a vast amount of both positive and negative comments.
The timing of it all has taken everyone by surprise, with most expecting it to be Monday by the earliest that we’d hear word of anyone getting the job.
A string of big name managers have been linked with the post in the recent weeks and months, but Lennon’s treble treble triumph appears to have convinced the Hoops board he is the right man for the job.
These Celtic fans have taken to Twitter this evening to share their thoughts on it all…
I trust Lennon to bring the 10 rather than a foreigner doing a 3 year project

To all who doubts Neil Lennon , you should be ashamed of yerselfs ! Guy took on massive pressure by filling in after Brendans midnight flitting! Hes been nothing but professional, brought some of our best players to the club in his first time as manager, give him the chance ???
