James Forrest's strike against Motherwell on Saturday means he's now scored in each of the last 11 seasons for Celtic, the first time the feat has been achieved since club legend Paul McStay did it in the 1992/93 season.

That's some company for Forrest to join, although he does have a long way to go before he gets to McStay's record of scoring in 16 seasons in a row.

The winger has picked up where he left off from last season and continues to be an important part of Neil Lennon's side.

His displays as a winger and even at wing-back in a 3-5-2 have impressed the supporters this campaign, as they go in search of replicating last season's treble heroics.

And the fans were quick to recognise his achievement this week, throwing all sorts of plaudits at their 28-year-old hero.

Some hope he'll replicate McStay's feat, while others are starting to throw the 'legend' term about for the star who has been at the club his entire career.
