Some Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to pile the praise on Jeremie Frimpong, following his performance in the 6-0 win over Ross County on Saturday.

The 18-year-old - signed from Manchester City back in the summer - was making his first league appearances for the Bhoys since arriving at Celtic Park.

Despite his inexperience, the teenager performed admirably and managed to grab himself an assist, which he celebrated as passionately as you would've expected him to after scoring a goal himself, let alone setting one up.

After the youngster's excellent showing, one fan below made the bold statement that Frimpong could've played in the World-Cup winning Brazil team of 1970 with ease.

Another supporter said that he can't help but want the Netherlands U19 full-back to succeed - it is quite evident that the fans below were pleased with what they saw from Frimpong on his debut.
