Efe Ambrose has completed a move to Derby County, according to Score Nigeria.

The former Celtic defender left Hibernian last month after spending two years at the club and although Derby County are yet to confirm the deal, Ambrose has told Score Nigeria that he's signed a contract that expires in the summer.

Ambrose was with Celtic for five years, winning four Scottish Premiership titles, along with the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup.

The centre-back made a total of 169 appearances for Celtic, scoring six goals and laying on 10 assists.

During his spell with Hibernian - whom he initially joined on loan before the move was made permanent - Ambrose played 86 times.

His move to Derby will mark his first foray into English football, having joined Celtic from Israeli club FC Ashdod.
