The Celtic fans are split over Kilmarnock’s reported £3m price tag for Greg Taylor, as Neil Lennon looks for a Kieran Tierney replacement before the end of the window.
Per The Daily Record, the Celts have been quoted a £3m asking price for Killie’s left-back- a figure that has got the supporters debating whether he’s worth such a fee or not.
The Parkhead club lost Tierney to Arsenal earlier this month, with his back-up Emilio Izaguirre also finding pastures new in Honduras. With only Boli Bolingoli coming in, Lennon is looking for another option for the left-hand side of his defence.

Despite Taylor being a full Scotland international and Killie regular, the move for Taylor and the fee have garnered a mixed reaction from the Hoops supporters. Some are happy to pay the money for a good player in a problem position, while others don’t think the 21-year-old is worth such an investment.
Here’s how they reacted on Twitter to the left-back’s reported valuation:
£3m? not a chance… isn’t good enough. We are slowly but surely ruining what could have been / should have been 10 in a row stroll… now it’s up in the air..

We shouldn’t be paying 3 million for Taylor but unfortunately we’ve backed ourselves into a corner and clubs know we’re desperate and cashed up. Would have probably got him for 1 million a month ago.

£3m isn’t big money these days. Will be hard to find a half decent first team player in Europe for less than that.

Would rather have the bhoy from rosenborg

Got to remember we are limited in Euro squads and have to have a certain number of Scottish players. I’d rather keep one of the foreigner spaces for someone more creative

Not worth 3 million. Bye driver ?

Listen. If he’s good enough to play for Celtic and we need him, pay the money.

I’ve never concerned myself how much Celtic pay for a player because it’s not coming out of my pocket. If we want Taylor and Killie say the price is £3m then clearly we should haggle, but if we end up paying £3m then I don’t really care.
