Loads of Celtic fans have been running the rule over their youth side’s impressive victory on Tuesday, and they want to see more of Mikey Johnston in the first team.
Celtic will expect to win their eighth title in a row this weekend, despite knowing full well how difficult a trip to Pittodrie can be.
And if the Hoops do wrap up the league on Saturday, we could see some changes in the last few games after the youth side beat Rangers 3-2 in the Glasgow Cup final on Tuesday.
Former Wigan & Fulham man, Jimmy Bullard recently showed that he’s still got it! Check out the video below…
Jack Aitchison opened the scoring before Johnston doubled the lead with a fantastic free kick, but Glenn Middleton responded for the Gers with a second-half brace, which included a wondergoal of his own.
Robbie Deas netted a stoppage time winner to settle the final 3-2 in favour of the Hoops, but it is Johnston that is getting all the praise.
The 20 year-old managed three goals in 24 appearances for the senior side before being relegated back to the youngsters, and the Twitter reactions down below are begging to get him more opportunities…
Watching that under 20's cup final and cant help but think that Mikey Johnston should be getting more of a chance, bags of skill and he's always willing to take players on and get to the by line, cant be any worse than what Sinclair was on Saturday

Mikey Johnston the class act on the park here so far.
I like the boy. Felt he was unlucky to get pitched in at Ibrox on his own up front.
Hope he gets another run in first team soon

He’s a bit light to play up top himself. But has all the ability of a good 10.
Probably needs a run of physical games a move similar to England’s league 1/League2 like Callum did could prove ideal.

Mikey Johnston just that bit better than everyone else on the park. You’d think in a couple of years he’ll be a regular in Celtic’s side.
