The patience of Celtic fans is wearing thin with Scott Sinclair after his run of poor form continued in the club’s loss to Kilmarnock on Sunday.
Striker Leigh Griffiths put the Hoops ahead on Killie’s plastic pitch just after the half hour mark after taking advantage of Greg Taylor’s poor clearance.
However, the current Premiership champions couldn’t stretch their lead and the home side’s right winger Chris Burke punished them in the second-half with a thunderous long-range strike past Scotland’s number one Craig Gordon.
Celtic, who completed their famous double treble under Rodgers last season, could not find another goal as much as they pressed, as has been common for the Bhoys this season. Then in the third minute of stoppage time Stuart Findlay glanced a header past Gordon to snatch all three points.
Sinclair initially impressed after his move from Aston Villa in the summer of 2016. The 29-year-old was non-existent against Kilmarnock though and has only netted once in 12 games in all competitions so far this season. Check out some of the tweets from Celtic fans below.
Hate to say I because he was fantastic first season but scott Sinclair is finished at Celtic absolutely time to move him on

Glad that people are waking up to the reality of this awful Celtic team/squad (at present). Vastly overpaid for average football results/performances. Sinclair?! Don't get me started on that waste of £2M pa….BR?! Mmmm

Him & that Jack Hendry are really terrible but Sinclair Is not even trying anymore. We need a big clear In January. We also need to recruit better & bring some players in. Hopefully it’s not to late by then. Anyway I’m off to my kip. HH

Celtic have been rotten for about a year now.
This has coincided with two main things.
Brown and Ntcham playing together. Both good individually but I don't think there's enough forward movement to accommodate both.
Sinclair's form falling off a cliff. (1/2)

I don't think Sinclair should play for us again. Sell him. Just not the same player. Just doesn't turn up anymore. Like playing with 10 men. So sad to see. Just no confidence
