Celtic are leading the chase to sign Wales winger Hal Robson-Kanu on a free transfer, according to the Daily Mail.
The Welshman scored the winning goal against Slovakia in their first group match of the European Championship on Saturday.
The 27-year-old does not have a club after being released by English Championship side Reading at the end of last season, but the Bhoys may have a fight on their hands with teams from the Bundesliga also interested in the player.
Robson-Kanu has spent his entire career with Reading, joining the club from Arsenal as a youth player when Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers was the academy director.
Before making his debut for the Royals, he had successful spells on loan at Southend United and Swindon Town, impressing enough in his performances to be included in Reading’s first-team pre-season preparations in 2009.
It would be Rodgers again who would give Robson-Kanu his first-team debut after the Northern Irishman became manager at the start of the 2009/10 season.
He went on to make 228 appearances, scoring 30 goals for Reading before being released this summer.
