Ah, Halloween.

It’s that time of year again when you’re stripped of all your worth, one pack of gummy bears a time, and when your doorbell batteries need replacing because it’s been throttled by at least 1,000,000 pairs of sticky hands.

October 31st is just about the only date in the calendar that “scaring” people or knocking on their doors to demand sugary goodness, or a packet of raisins (good memories), is deemed acceptable. To heck with your ‘no soliciting’ stickers, prepare yourselves to be solicited. And the fact that your lights are off and curtains are closed is inconsequential – children will still hammer your door down like a sugar frenzied police raid.

There’s nothing particularly spooky about Celtic’s current position at the top of the table, nor their recent form in cup competitions, but getting into the Halloween spirit, the club decided to pull off a simple but effective prank on a number of their players.

Scary stuff…
