Celtic is clearly still held close to the heart of Arsenal's Kieran Tierney after he posted a warm image of him with Bhoys skipper Scott Brown on Monday.

And it quickly became a love-in for Hoops past and present as legendary midfielder Stilyan Petrov quickly replied with a bunch of hearts - green, of course - for the pair.

Tierney put this up on Instagram, to which Petrov replied...

The former Celtic left-back evidently has a lot of admiration and respect for his old teammate as he describes him as "ma hero" even despite his move to the Premier League getting in the way of the friendship they had built up at Celtic Park.

To top things off, a man who Brown once described as "outstanding" and as a "wonderful human being" replied full of love for the captain and the Arsenal ace.

Tierney's start to life in north London hasn't yet gone to plan due to injuries as he has managed only 11 senior appearances in all competitions this season.

Neither Scotsman was involved for their team over the weekend, so they must've had plenty of time to catch up.
