Celtic wonderkid Karamoko Dembele, who made his U-20s debut at just 13-years-old on Monday, has been training with the Bhoys’ first-team squad, according to the Daily Record.
Dembele, who has been tipped to be a superstar after running out for the development squad at such a young age, took part in a training session with senior players shortly after meeting with new Parkhead boss, Brendan Rodgers.
The youngster, who is being watched by the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain, played the final nine minutes in the youth team’s 3-1 win over Hearts on Monday night after replacing 16-year-old Jack Aitchison.
Dembele has come into the limelight recently after impressing at the St Kevin’s Boys club tournament in Dublin against the likes of Barcelona and Lyon, leading to him being dubbed the ‘new Lionel Messi’.
Dembele was given a chance with the U20s, where most of the opposition were seven years his senior, after a number of players were called up for the Scotland U-19s’ match against Sweden.
