According to the Daily Mail, Brighton and Hove Albion are preparing an £18m bid for Celtic’s Moussa Dembele.
Since transferring from Fulham to Celtic at the start of the 2016-17 season, the Frenchman has been in prolific form for the Scottish champions scoring a commendable 40 goals in 67 appearances.
The Seagulls’ supporters can only dream of such ruthlessness in front of goal, and aside from West Brom and Swansea, no team have scored fewer goals than Brighton in the league this season.
To contextualise the extent of Brighton’s woes in front of goal, a 34-year-old Glen Murray is their top goalscorer in the Premier League. Without question, their need for goals is urgent, and perhaps Moussa Dembele will be the individual to provide a timely solution for Chris Hughton’s team.
Here’s how the Celtic fans reacted to the rumours of Moussa Dembele’s potential departure to Brighton and Hove Albion…
Can see Dembele goin. But Brighton? No chance https://t.co/VQmN7a2klW

Would love him to stay but think it is just a matter if time before he moves on. I can’t see anyone paying anywhere near the £30m pruce tag due to all his injuries.

We will get between 15 to 20 Million for him.

TBH I’ll scunnered if he goes to a garbage team that can only offer money. This would be worse than Hooper leaving for Norwich to “help him secure an England place for the WC…” That move failed Hooper and this move would fail Moussa

Add another £10m to that!!!!

Why do they try to lure players with the promise of premiership football.. he’s playing at a top club with the promise of European football why don’t they just say the promise of more money ? If he goes there I’ll lose faith in football all together he’s much better than that
