Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to reveal that they'd like the Hoops to sign Livingston striker Lyndon Dykes.

The Gold Coast-born striker gave Christopher Jullien something to think about in Wednesday evening's 2-2 draw, proving to be a thorn in the Frenchman's side throughout despite failing to get on the scoresheet - he did, however, grab an assist.

Dykes now has 12 goals and ten assists in all competitions this season, and also managed to find the back of the net in Livingston's 2-0 win over the reigning Scottish champions back in October.

Neil Lennon isn't in desperate need for a frontman with arguably Scotland's best player Odsonne Edouard leading the line for him - the former Paris Saint-Germain striker has 26 goals and 18 assists to his name this term.

However, behind the 22-year-old, there is no-one quite on his level - Leigh Griffiths is competent enough to do a job, having registered eight goals so far this season. Lennon also has Vakoun Issouf Bayo, although the Ivory Coast international has just two goals this term.

After he troubled the Hoops backline on Wednesday and very nearly gave his side another win over Celtic - Tom Rogic's 90th minute equaliser helped prevent the club's domestic unbeaten start to 2020 - these Bhoys supporters on Twitter have made their feelings known...

To kick off the reaction, these two fans mentioned Bayo and stated that the Ivorian should be replaced.

The 23-year-old hasn't done enough this season to prove that he can be a suitable backup for Edouard, so perhaps Dykes would be a better option for Lennon.

Elsewhere, Stevie suggested that Dykes could actually partner Edouard up front, believing that he could be a terrific accomplice for the Frenchman.

Lastly, these two fans made reference to Chris Sutton when revealing why they want Celtic to sign Dykes.

The former Chelsea striker won four Scottish titles during his time at Celtic Park, and also won three Scottish Cups and one Scottish League cup - Dykes would have to do a lot to match Sutton's achievements if he signed for the Hoops.

In other news, Lennon now has no excuse not to give this Celtic man a chance after his pre-match press conference...
