Celtic breezed into the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup on Sunday with a convincing 3-0 win over Clyde in a fixture which saw Mohamed Elyounoussi return to the starting XI.

The Norway international hasn't played an SPFL fixture since he featured against Motherwell on November 10th 2019, but he will be hoping to return when the Hoops host Hearts on Wednesday evening.

With Neil Lennon advocating a defensive trio rather than a back four in recent weeks, though, it remains to be seen where the Southampton loanee fits into the current system.

In the aftermath of his weekend display in the cup, many fans were discussing the importance of his return to action.

These fans, however, expressed some concern over exactly how the Celtic boss can weave him into the side.

One fans suggested he could be one of the two players deployed at the spearhead of the attack, but Leigh Griffiths' return of three goals in his last five SPFL games suggests the goal hungry striker won't be ousted easily.

Finally, these fans just want to see the club splash out to sign Elyounoussi on a permanent basis when his loan deal expires in the summer.

And there is also some clamour to complete a double swoop on Southampton, with Fraser Forster also doing enough to convince fans he's worthy of a permanent transfer to Paradise.
