Former Celtic teammates congratulate Man City winger Patrick Roberts on loan move to Norwich City

Patrick Roberts has just ended a loan spell at Girona and has already signed for Norwich City for the coming season, as the Canaries make their return to the top flight for the first time since 2016.

The 22-year-old posted a statement on Instagram that he had joined Norwich on Thursday, making him one of the first signings of the transfer window.

He received numerous responses from various players including Celtic stars Kieran Tierney and Scott Bain

Roberts spent two seasons on loan in Glasgow and won seven trophies as well as making 78 appearances scoring 18 and setting up a further 26.

This is the former Fulham mans’ third loan spell away from the Etihad, and it is unlikely he will ever become a first team player for Manchester City, but if he impresses for the Canaries, then he may still have a Premier League career to look forward to.

One thing for sure is that his old Celtic teammates will want him to do well for Daniel Farke’s side.
