Fulham are interested in signing Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen, according to the Daily Express.
The 25 year old is due to hold talks about his future with new Bhoys manager Brendan Rodgers when he returns for pre-season training in late June.
The Norwegian international has just one year left remaining on his current contract and has confirmed that negotiations have not progressed on a new deal, increasing speculation that he will be allowed to leave the Scottish champions this summer to prevent him from exiting for nothing next year.
The attacking midfielder has said that he has had a telephone conversation with Rodgers already, and he has been assured that he is wanted at Celtic Park.
Championship side Fulham may look to push for a transfer though if terms can’t be agreed on an extended deal for the player to stay at the club.
Johansen had a difficult second season at Celtic with just four goals in 39 appearances, in stark contrast to his first campaign where he scored 13 goals and was named Scotland’s PFA Player’s Player of the Year.
