John Hartson has been in a reminiscent mood on social media, as he retweeted highlights of one of his most memorable performances in a Celtic shirt.
The former Welsh international played 146 league matches for the Scottish giants, scoring 88 goals, and four of those came on one night 14 years ago – as Hartson clinched a glut of strikes in a 7-0 drubbing of Aberdeen.

It’s one of Hartson’s most memorable displays in a Hoops shirt and he was understandably more than happy to share the above tweet to his followers in the wake of their impressive draw with Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday evening.
That result kept their European hopes alive, although difficult fixtures lie ahead. Domestically Brendan Rodgers’ side have been relatively untouchable this season, as they have once again stormed their way to the top of the table as they look to retain their crown.
Celtic face Inverness this weekend before a run of crucial games after the international break, which sees them clash with Kilmarnock, Barcelona and Aberdeen before the close of November.
