In the latter stages of Celtic’s 4-0 victory over Motherwell, Neil Lennon brought Patryk Klimala on to replace Odsonne Edouard.
However, fans were far from impressed with this decision due to the timing of it, as the substitution was made in the 84th minute.
This is the second time Klimala has been given a very small cameo, as the Poland youth international was brought on for eight minutes during a 3-0 victory over St. Johnstone.
Considering the substantial lead Celtic were holding, they felt this would have been an opportunity to give the 21-year-old some useful game time after signing from Jagiellonia Bialystok.
He only got one real opportunity, but when the ball fell to him, the striker attempted to hit the ball on the turn, eventually skewing it well wide.
In addition to the fact that Klimala was given a minimal chance to do himself justice, there was also the suggestion made by one fan that he should have replaced Edouard earlier in order to safeguard the Frenchman.
Still think it’s criminal giving klimala 10 mins. Not even along side Edouard. Pushing a player into no match fitness and giving him no minutes with who he’d play next to

Fans have now made their opinion known ahead of the Clyde game on Sunday, stating that the 21-year-old should start.
Considering they’re sitting eighth in Scottish League One, Celtic will be feeling confident that they can progress past them.
Therefore, it could be the perfect occasion to get Klimala up to speed, integrating him into the lineup and building up some more match fitness.
Light work. Easier game than Hamilton, they got too brave for their own good. Edouard new contract by Monday, reward him. Him and McGregor are playing so good they need to chill to stop the bids. Keep Edouard away from Broadwood and start the desperate Klimala aka Mr.Snatcherson.

Four-midable. Edouard and McGregor were immense and the overall performance was much better than Sunday. I hope we stick with the 3-5-2 formation in domestic games, we look a lot more dangerous. On to the cup now, be good to see Shved, Arzani, Klimala etc get a game
