I told you so! Celtic fans celebrate Weah’s return

Loads of Celtic fans have been reacting to Wednesday’s win over St Mirren, as Tim Weah proved the fans that have been begging to see him play right.

Celtic moved yet another step closer to what is now looking like an inevitable eighth consecutive title win on Wednesday, beating St Mirren 2-0 at The Simple Digital Arena.

The Bhoys took an early lead in the match, and it was courtesy of a man who fans have been heaping praise on despite him rarely stepping foot on the pitch since Neil Lennon’s arrival.

Weah’s pace, skill, eye for goal and versatility at such a young age is truly remarkable, and he headed one in off the crossbar to give the Hoops a lead on Wednesday.

Olivier Ntcham then had a penalty saved before Ryan Christie made sure of the result on his return from injury, bagging the second with five minutes to spare.

Fans have been crying out for the boss to use Weah more often, and unsurprisingly, there are some serious “I told you so” vibes in the Twitter reactions down below…
