Is Rodgers still the right man for the Celtic job?

Brendan Rodgers’ first two campaigns at the helm for Celtic couldn’t have really gone much better. Consecutive trebles were adorned with progression to the Champions League group stages in both seasons.

So far this season, though, things haven’t been going well at all for the ex-Liverpool boss at Celtic Park. A bitter failure to reach the Champions League group stages has been compounded by a dreadful start to their title defence effort in the Scottish Premiership.

With only six games played, the Bhoys have already suffered two defeats and find themselves trailing both leaders Hearts and Steven Gerrard’s Rangers in the race for top spot.

If things don’t improve soon then the 45-year-old boss could find himself under intense pressure. Perhaps the time has already come for Celtic to seek change and a fresh start without the Northen Irishman in the dugout.

What do you think, Celtic fans – do you still consider Rodgers to be the right man for the job?
