Championship clubs Reading and Sheffield Wednesday are interested in signing Celtic’s young Australian attacking midfielder Tom Rogic, according to SBS in Australia.
The 23 year old’s contract expires at the end of next season and talks over renewing his deal have stalled with the Scottish club.
Rather than allowing the player to leave for nothing next summer, the Hoops could cash in on the player with the Chinese Super League, Wednesday or the Royals being the player’s most likely destinations.
Rogic has been at Celtic since 2013 after joining from A League side Central Coast Mariners, but he only broke into Ronny Deila’s first XI this season.
The Australian has been pretty prolific this season with 10 goals in 38 matches in all competitions.
His spectacular goal against Kilmarnock in late March was recently named the Premiership goal of the season. The goal proved to be the winner in a 1-0 victory against Killie.
