Celtic didn't enjoy the greatest of starts to the 2018/19 campaign, but they have hit form in recent weeks.

The Bhoys lie in second position in the Scottish top flight going into the weekend's fixtures, and manager Brendan Rodgers may well want to strengthen his squad during the January transfer window to ensure that they not only win their eighth successive title, but also advance further in Europe should the opportunity presents itself.

Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion attacker Jay Rodriguez has been in brilliant form so far this term with eight goals in 16 Championship outings, and he is a player that the Northern Irish boss reportedly wanted back in 2015 when he was in charge at Liverpool and the forward was at Southampton.

We decided to ask Celtic fans to vote on our poll to see whether they would like to see their club smash their transfer record – the Baggies reportedly wanted upwards of £18m for him when Burnley were keen in the summer – to sign the 29-year-old, but 46% said they wouldn't as you can see from the results below.
