A large percentage of Celtic fans are eager to see the club make a move for Hibernian midfielder John McGinn this summer.

The 8-cap Scotland international has been freshly linked with a move to Celtic Park this week by outlets such as The Scottish Sun, who report the Hoops are likely to offer cash plus Scott Allan in order to secure the 23-year-old.

McGinn is one of the best midfielders in the division outside of Celtic and having spent a number of years at Hibs, is primed to move onto the next stage of his career.

Competition for places in the Hoops midfield is fierce, but at 23 years of age he holds plenty of potential and with a bit of Brendan Rodgers polish could make an impression in Glasgow.

Supporters certainly seem keen, with a massive 71% of respondents to a poll we published earlier this week believing that Celtic should make a move to sign him.
