According to results from our recent poll, new signing Vakoun Issouf Bayo has emerged as the favourite amongst Celtic fans to lead the Hoops' strike-force going forward, with the Ivorian scooping the majority of votes.

Brendan Rodgers' third signing of the January transfer window already, Bayo completed the switch to Celtic on Tuesday as he followed loanees Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah to Glasgow.

Until this week, Odsonne Edouard's spot in the starting XI was under little to no threat but the consensus seems to be that Bayo will quickly oust the former PSG man; both have impressive strike-rates but 22-year-old Bayo boasts better.

Plying his trade with Dunajska Streda in Slovakia, the powerful hitman notched 18 in 23 appearances in all competitions with seven assists to boot - that's a goal contribution every 82.8 minutes.

Those ridiculous numbers seemed to be enough to convince the Bhoys and Ghirls that he should be leading the line from now on, as 48% of fans opted for Bayo instead of Edouard and Weah - you can check out the full results of our poll below...
