Scott Sinclair is three match balls away from surpassing Henrik Larsson’s goal tally at Celtic in his first three seasons.
Larsson’s third season was halted by a broken leg in October 1999 but even taking that into account the scoring run of the former Aston Villa man is highly impressive.
Sunday’s hat-trick against St. Johnstone took his Hoops total to 59 – a sum that most strikers would love to achieve let alone a winger.
Scott Sinclair: As a winger..has scored more goals than Sutton, or Hartson did..in their first 3 seasons..He is 8 goals away from beating Larsson`s first 3 season`s tally. That is SENSATIONAL @Scotty_Sinclair ?@CelticNation67 #CelticFC #Celtic pic.twitter.com/MaMAYWJJYS

Sinclair’s Celtic career got off to the best possible start when he came off the bench to score the winner away to Hearts in the opening SPFL fixture of the Brendan Rodgers reign.
The Irishman had worked with Sinclair at Chelsea and took him to Swansea where he notched a Play Off Final hat-trick to take the Welsh side into the Premier League.
Moves to Manchester City and Aston Villa didn’t work out but Rodgers never doubted his ability and was quick to bring him to Celtic.
There was no fanfare for the arrival of a guy that had just been relegated at Aston Villa but the mantle of ‘In Brendan we Trust’ was born after Sinclair scored in each of his opening six SPFL matches.
Scoring the winning goal on his first visit to Ibrox was warmly welcomed as he swept the boards with the Player of the Year awards in the Invincibles season.
The second half of last season saw a form slump but with two hat-tricks in the last two months, Sinclair is back on course for another 20 plus scoring return.
