As reported by outlets such as The Daily Telegraph, Celtic defender Kieran Tierney has emerged as a summer transfer target for Everton.
The paper report that new Toffees manager Marco Silva has made Tierney a prime target ahead of his first season in charge and is preparing a £25m bid for the Scotland international.
They say that Everton see him as a potential long-term replacement for veteran Leighton Baines on the left hand side of defence.
Tierney has emerged in recent years as one of the most exciting young defenders in Britain, excelling for the Hoops both in domestic football and in Europe, also captaining Scotland on occasion.
Interest in his services then is no surprise, but many Celtic fans are not worried about losing him this summer, citing his love for the club and the fact that he may one day be able to move to a bigger club than the Goodison Park outfit.
These supporters took to Twitter this weekend to share their thoughts on a potential switch…
Tierney won't leave. It's not happening. He won't even entertain it

Tierney will leave Celtic one day, but it probably won’t be this year and it definitely won’t be to Everton.

Tierney won’t be leaving any time soon, if he ever does leave it’ll be to Barcelona in about 8 years everyone calm down

Applaud Everton's ambition. But when Kieran Tierney does leave Celtic – and he'll be leaving a ten-in-a-row Champion – it won't be for a club of the stature of Everton which hasn't won a trophy during his life.

Tierney, £60M or else he stays until 10 in a row and leaves for Barca with everyone’s good wishes for £40M in 2021. Boyata £25M minimum. Fed up with smaller clubs like Everton & Tottenham thinking they can buy Celtic players for B&M store prices. Our board need to take a stand.
