There’s every chance that Odsonne Edouard has played his last game for Celtic this season.
Limping off at the weekend with a suspected hamstring injury, he’s reported to be a major doubt to feature in next weekend’s Scottish Cup final against Motherwell.
It’s particularly disappointing for the player considering he is just hitting his stride as a striker at Celtic, recently scoring in two derbies against Rangers to make himself a real fan favourite.
With the possibility of a permanent move to Glasgow on the table, it’s now down to Celtic to thrash out an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for his signature.
It’s something they must do as a priority and as early as possible, with a massive summer of difficult European qualifiers ahead to navigate if they want to make it to the UEFA Champions League group stages again.
