Kieran Tierney has tweeted a picture following his operation for ankle ligament damage.
Last Thursday the teenage full-back suffered the injury in training, ruling him out of action until the new year.
Tierney was in incredible form before the injury – highlighted by an outstanding display against Manchester City in the Champions League.
His injury could hardly have come at a worse time, forcing him to miss out on three Champions League matches and the Betfred Cup Final against Aberdeen at Hampden.
Despite that set-back Tierney looked upbeat as he posted a picture on his twitter account…

Tierney’s injury has opened the door for an unexpected top team return for Emilio Izaguirre who has started the last two matches – away to Aberdeen and Borussia Monchengladbach.
With his contract up at the end of the season, it looked like Izzy would depart Celtic quietly after losing his place in the side to KT.
After the draw with Gladbach, Izaguirre revealed that Brendan Rodgers had blocked a possible move in the summer, insisting that the Honduran stayed on as back up for Tierney.
That scenario has unfortunately come to pass with Izaguirre set to continue his run in the first team against Motherwell on Saturday.
