Premier League club West Bromwich Albion are interested in Celtic managerial target Brendan Rodgers, according to the Daily Record.
Rodgers has been out of work since being sacked by Liverpool after a draw against Everton in the Merseyside Derby back in October and has been tipped for a return to Swansea whom he guided to the Premier League back in 2011.
The link to West Brom has come about due to speculation over current boss Tony Pulis’ future.
He is reported to want discussions with the Baggies chairman about the club’s transfer budget.
The ex-Stoke boss had a falling out over a similar issue at Crystal Palace, which led to his departure from the London club in 2014, and West Brom look to be drawing up replacements in case of any similar bust up occurring.
Celtic are said to be interested in Rodgers, with the ex Liverpool manager currently favourite with the bookmakers to replace Ronny Deila and the Northern Irishman was non-committal when asked about the Scottish club last week.
