Jak Alnwick has joined Blackpool on loan, Rangers have confirmed, and lots of fans have been reacting to the announcement.

Alnwick joins the League One side for a season with his Ibrox future uncertain - he is behind the likes of Allan McGregor and Wes Foderingham in the pecking order, though their superior age may mean Alnwick has more chances in the future.

The 26-year-old's contract at the Gers expires next summer and it's unknown if he'll be offered a new deal; a strong showing out on loan will surely do his chances no harm.

The keeper spent last season on loan in League One, playing 43 games for Scunthorpe United. The former Newcastle stopper will be hoping for a better time in England's third tier this time around though, as the Iron were relegated on the final day of the season.

Alnwick was brought to the Gers in January in 2017 by Mark Warburton but has only made 11 appearances for the club in total.
