Borna Barisic enjoyed an excellent performance for Rangers as they beat Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday.

With Jon Flanagan injured, Barisic was selected to play from the start against the Dutch club at Ibrox.

The Croatia international has enjoyed a very good start to the season, maintaining selection for the national side and scoring two sublime free-kicks - though one was wrongly ruled not to have crossed the line despite being clearly over it - and two assists.

Per WhoScored, Barisic won three tackles against Feyenoord, made three interceptions, completed two clearances and one dribble and also won an aerial duel in what was, essentially, a complete display.

After the match, Rangers fans took to social media in unison to applaud the performance of Barisic as the club kept a vital clean sheet in their European encounter.
