Rangers' U17 side are currently competing at the ALKASS International Cup and supporters will naturally be intrigued by how the next generation of talent get on in Qatar.

The youngsters have played two games so far, recording a 3-2 victory over Suwon Samsung and a 4-4 draw with Aspire Academy.

One player who has particularly caught the eye is Charlie Lindsay, who notched a 92nd minute goal to clinch the win against Suwon Samsung.

According to The Athletic's Jordan Campbell, he has won two man of the match awards at the tournament and is due to officially move to Ibrox from Glentoran in the summer.

And if the conversation amongst Rangers fans on Twitter is anything to go by, they are already expecting big things from the 15-year-old.

It appears that his ability to strike a dead ball has particularly caught the eye of this supporter.

For those not so well versed in the lingo, TheCrispola is expecting the prodigy to stick a few stunning free-kicks into the back of the net...

Finally, this fan suggested that Rangers have pulled a similar stunt to the one Chelsea pulled on them to secure the signing of Billy Gilmour.

Gilmour was one of the most outstanding talents residing within Rangers' youth set up before he was snatched away by the Blues in 2017, and the fact the 18-year-old has already made two Premier League appearances speaks volumes about his ability to establish himself at the top level.

If Lindsay is in any way comparable to Gilmour, the Gers faithful sure have plenty to look forward to...
