Rangers are interested in signing Liverpool youngster Dominic Solanke on loan. The 20-year-old England international has struggled for goals at Anfield and a loan spell could do him the world of good.

Rangers are still in the hunt to sign young Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke, according to The Scottish Sun.

What's the story?

The 20-year-old England international is hotly-tipped as a star of the future and scored his first Liverpool goal on the final day of last season against Brighton.

Now new Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is keen to bring the talented youngster to the Ibrox on loan next season and according to the report, a move is still very much on the cards.

Good move for all parties

Despite Jurgen Klopp giving the striker a chance last season, he will find it very difficult to cement his place in the first team with Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino forming such a deadly strike force.

He would do well to spend time elsewhere and playing regular football, and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard would surely know how to get the best out of the young star.
