According to the Daily Mail, Rangers are considering launching a bid to bring out-of-favour Southampton ace Steven Davis back to Ibrox Stadium in the upcoming January transfer window.

The 33-year-old midfielder has been something of an outcast at St Mary’s Stadium this season, having made just three Premier League appearances so far despite being the Saints’ club captain. It seems, that in order to get back to playing regular football, the versatile veteran will have to depart the south coast club after more than half a decade’s worth of service.

Former Wigan & Fulham man, Jimmy Bullard recently showed that he's still got it! Check out the video below...

Prior to his switch to Southampton, Davis represented the Gers. A return to the resurgent Glasgow outfit could now be on the cards.

As Steven Gerrard leads Rangers on a charge to deny Celtic the Scottish Premiership crown, he could do with having Davis’ experience and leadership to call upon.

What do you think, Rangers fans, would you welcome Davis back to Ibrox?
