Alfredo Morelos has been excellent for Rangers since Steven Gerrard’s arrival, but should the Gers consider cashing in while the rates are high?

You’d be hard pushed to find a player in hotter form right now that Morelos, who has scored 11 goals and added two assists so far this season.

The 22 year-old divided fans last season due to his inconsistency and occasional lapse of discipline, one of which has continued to plague him this season.

The fiery youngster has already received two easily avoidable red cards, and many fans still feel his lack of control will cost them at a vital moment.

Gerrard has shown his preference for a 4-3-3 formation, meaning there is only really room for one starting striker, and Kyle Lafferty could bring all the goals without the red cards.

The Gers would of course have to sign another striker if they were to sell Morelos, and the Colombian’s red-hot start to the season would certainly fetch a big enough fee to find a replacement.
