This saw Steven Gerrard's side pitted against Bayer Leverkusen, who got past FC Porto to reach this stage.

Drawing the Bundesliga side has got plenty of Rangers fans focusing on one man: Kai Havertz.

Some Rangers fans are unfazed by the prospect of facing him, as they feel Ianis Hagi is better, as summarised by one of them saying "Kai Havertz has posters of Ianis Hagi on his wall".

The Romanian has a very impressive record in the Europa League so far this campaign, getting two goals and an assist from just two games.

The hope is that Hagi will be able to outdo Havertz in order to help get Rangers through to the quarter-final.

However, there are some fans who are very wary of the impact the German could go on to have in the tie, with one saying he is "something special", while another admitted they are "petrified" of him.

The evidence of his performance against Porto on Thursday shows that comes with good reason, as he assisted both of Leverkusen's first two goals, before scoring the third.

In addition to that, he made three key passes, won two tackles and completed 92% of the passes that he attempted.

Meanwhile, one Rangers man has been celebrated by fans for their performance against Braga.
