Rangers fans react to Glenn Kamara’s performance

Rangers suffered a potentially fatal setback in their Europa League campaign on Thursday evening as Bayer Leverkusen recorded a 3-1 win at Ibrox.

Three away goals and a two goal margin have put the Bundesliga outfit in cruise control but it remains to be seen when the second leg will be played.

In the absence of Ryan Jack, Steven Gerrard opted for a midfield trio of Scott Arfield, Steven Davis and Glenn Kamara.

So far this season, the latter has struggled to emulate the level of form that made him such a celebrated figure in the early stages of his Rangers career.

One fan, however, did not feel he convinced throughout the entirety of proceedings, suggesting he was back to his best for one half only.

But fans were not unanimous in their assessment as others offered scathing views on his contribution.

One suggested that he wasn’t confident enough in showing for the ball and wasn’t ambitious enough with his distribution.

Another was much more damning and suggested he shouldn’t even be in the starting XI.

As is so often the case with football, Kamara put in a truly divisive performance against Leverkusen.
