Rangers suffered a potentially fatal setback in their Europa League campaign on Thursday evening as Bayer Leverkusen recorded a 3-1 win at Ibrox.

Three away goals and a two goal margin have put the Bundesliga outfit in cruise control but it remains to be seen when the second leg will be played.

In the absence of Ryan Jack, Steven Gerrard opted for a midfield trio of Scott Arfield, Steven Davis and Glenn Kamara.
