Alfredo Morelos has kicked off the season well for Rangers on the goal front.

The Colombian forward has netted three goals and created two assists in five outings in all competitions.

Last season, Morelos scored 18 goals in his first campaign for the Scottish club following his £1m switch from HJK Helsinki.

With only a matter of weeks before the transfer window slams shut in Europe, it is believed that the forward is attracting interest from France.

According to The Evening Times, Bordeaux have lodged a £3.75m offer for Morelos, but the Gers have turned it down.

Manager Steven Gerrard has recruited 11 new signings this summer, but judging by how his striker has started the season, the Colombian could be an important figure if he is able to keep his temper in check.

On Twitter, some Rangers fans would be open to selling if the suitor increased their offer, while others have brushed off the speculation.
