It wouldn't be an Old Firm derby without moments of controversy but the clash that ended a rather different decade for both Rangers and Celtic on Sunday was one of the most entertaining yet.

The Gers began the 2010s in financial turmoil before fighting back to earn their place in the top-flight of Scottish football.

Celtic, on the other hand, have reigned supreme and won multiple titles under Brendan Rodgers.

However, it was Rangers who had the final laugh going into 2020, beating their fierce rivals 2-1.

Despite that, Alfredo Morelos was sent off and referee Kevin Clancy also gave first-team coach Michael Beale his marching orders. As well as that, he failed to rule out Celtic's equaliser despite the ball hitting Odsonne Edouard's hand.

But it was the celebration from former Liverpool man Ryan Kent that sparked the biggest meltdown.

After scoring his fifth goal of the campaign, he ran past the hosts' supporters and rolled out a rather foolish celebration, pictured below.

Pointing to his head and making a gun sign wasn't the best way to celebrate scoring in an Old Firm derby and consequently, it could land him in hot water.

The Sun reported after the game that he may face action from the Scottish FA if he's found guilty of misconduct.

The same verdict could also be passed towards Alfredo Morelos who appeared to make a 'cut-throat' gesture towards opposing fans when trudging off after his red card.

Kent costs Rangers £7.5m in the summer but after turning in some impressive performances this term, scoring on a regular basis, he still has to mature considerably.

Tempers often boil over in derby matches but this was a step too far from the winger.
