Rangers supporters were left fuming by the performance of left-back Borna Barisic on Sunday after a 2-1 defeat to Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.
The Croatian was starting his first match for the club since March, given an opportunity by manager Steven Gerrard on the final day of the league season.
Initially starting the season strongly as a firm part of the Gers manager’s plans, he’s gradually found himself on the fringes of the squad and after Sunday’s performance at Rugby Park there are serious questions about what he can offer the club going forward.
He failed to get to grips with the match throughout the 90 minutes and eventually conceded a penalty which allowed Killie to win the match.
Some fans are even beginning to write off the 6 foot 1 defender, feeling the club should look to get rid of him somehow this summer.
That may be something of a harsh assessment, but if he wants to stay at Ibrox he will need to pick up his performances when the new season kicks off.
These supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his Sunday display…
Hope weve still got the receipt for barisic ?

Barisic's 3 best performances this season were against Rangers.
2 for Osijek and the other for Kilmarnock.

Barisic, good footballer without the fight to play in Scottish football, need to move him on and I’m sure he’ll succeed elsewhere..
