Rangers defender Bruno Alves is nearing a first team return after Graeme Murty confirmed he took part in full training this week.
?️GM: Lee Wallace & Bruno Alves took full part in training today. Jordan Rossiter and Ross McCrorie will be assessed on Monday.

The Portuguese defender limped out of the 0-0 derby draw vs Celtic over the festive period and has been missing ever since, allowing fringe defenders to stake a claim in the Light Blues’ defensive line in his absence.
Last summer’s much-hyped arrival has failed to completely convince supporters so far and with the emergence of David Bates and Russell Martin, some even believe he’s not guaranteed a start when fully fit again.
Others though reckon his return is a big boost to the Rangers first team, with his experience and competition wining mentality unmatched by any other player in Scotland.
Is Sunday’s match away to Hamilton too soon for first team action, or should Murty throw him in to build his fitness and confidence again?
Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his pending return…
Bruno Alves back with the first team is the best news you could hear ?

Don't care what anyone says Bruno Alves should be starting and be captain. Players respect him and has most experience of playing at highest level. Anyway 3 points is a must ??????

Alves and Cardoso were in yesterday putting in a session themselves. A fit and motivated Alves is a massive plus for the team

Best defender in the league when fit.
