Rangers bounced back to form on Wednesday with a routine win over Hearts, and the Ibrox faithful are simply stunned by Glen Kamara.

After the Old Firm defeat left Steven Gerrard’s side 13 points adrift of Celtic, it would have been easy for the Gers to recoil into their shell and accept their season is over.

They did anything but on Wednesday though, brushing Hearts aside with relative ease at Ibrox.

Jermain Defoe opened the scoring early in typical Defoe fashion, burying a volley from close range after a mix-up in the box, before Connor Goldson doubled the lead with a header.

Scott Arfield made it three just after the interval, and while he didn’t get on the score-sheet, it is Kamara that is taking all the plaudits.

Signed for a minimal fee in January with his contract running down, the 23 year-old’s smooth dribbling, composure on the ball and eye for a pass are quickly endearing him to the Gers fans.
