Rangers supporters are eager to see Glenn Middleton get some first team action at Ibrox next season, believing he has what it takes to be a star in Steven Gerrard’s set-up.
The 18-year-old is currently on international duty with the Scotland U21s side at the prestigious Toulon Tournament, his assist for Billy Gilmour ensuring that his side progressed to the semi-final against England this evening.
Middleton was a January signing, brought to the club by Mark Allen and Graeme Murty from Norwich City, although was initially installed in the club’s development squad.
Rangers fans though believe he has the potential to make it in the first team and reckon next season could see him make his breakthrough at the club.
Will Gerrard turn to youth in his debut season as Light Blues boss?

I hope Glenn Middleton gets some first team minutes this season. We have a ton of great quality in our youth ranks. Whoever is recruiting for our academies needs a raise and longer contract.
