Rangers fans are excited by imminent Cummings signing

As reported by The Daily Record, Nottingham Forest striker Jason Cummings is in Glasgow ahead of a loan move to Rangers until the end of the season.

The paper say he is set to imminently sign for the Light Blues, becoming their fourth signing of the January transfer window.

Rated at £900,000 by Transfermarkt, the former Hibernian man has found the switch to the English Championship tough this season, falling out of favour with former Forest manager Mark Warburton and scoring just four goals.

However, he was prolific north of the border, netting 71 times and providing 23 assists in 149 appearances for Hibs.

He was also a constant problem for Rangers, netting eight times against the Ibrox side during his spell in Scottish football.

That may be one of the reasons supporters seem massively excited by the news, believing he is exactly what Graeme Murty’s side needs to compete for major honours in the second half of the season.

Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the potential signing…
