Josh Windass wants to leave Rangers this summer after Steven Gerrard made it known he is not part of his plans this season according to The Daily Mail’s live blog (24/06 13:20).
The 24-year-old enjoyed a fine campaign last season after struggling in his first year at the Ibrox, scoring 18 goals in all competitions and finishing as the club’s joint top-scorer.
But since new boss Gerrard has made a raft of new signings this summer, it appears the attacking midfielder is not a key member of the first team and he is keen to force a move back to England.
According to the report, West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion, Burnley and Aston Villa are all interested in signing the talent who is rated at £3million by Rangers.
Rangers fans have been reacting to the transfer speculation on social media and it seems most are unconvinced that any of the clubs linked with Windass are seriously interested in signing the midfielder this summer.
Nonsense, the guy won’t get a look in at the hammers. They are bringing in proper quality this season..

West Ham? They’ve just spent 100m and bought attackers like Wilshere, Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko…. Yet they want josh windass? I’d be so surprised if this is true

Not really sure why Josh Windass is the scapegoat again. Only player who seemed able to create chances on his own in last couple of matches.
