Rangers fans crucify Goldson’s recent form

Loads of Rangers fans have been reacting to Thursday’s Europa League defeat, and they can’t quite believe how bad Connor Goldson was.

Rangers were on the wrong end of an absolutely thrilling encounter on Thursday night, losing 4-3 in Moscow.

Spartak got a 0-0 draw from Ibrox in the return fixture, and the Russian outfit are now level on points with the Gers with two games to go.

It looked to be the perfect away performance at first, as an own goal gave Steven Gerrard’s side an early lead.

Daniel Candeias answered immediately after the hosts equalised, only for Goldson to score at the wrong end to make it 2-2.

Glenn Middleton then scored his first European goal to give the Gers a half time lead, but the defending in the second half was truly shambolic.

Luiz Adriano and Sofiane Hanni scored after the break to make it 4-3, and Goldson really should have done better for both goals.

The 25 year-old was exceptional at the beginning of the season, but fans are absolutely crucifying his recent performances.
