Rangers fans have been discussing the potential of losing Alfredo Morelos to Crystal Palace this summer after rumours surfaced that his agents had become aware of interest from the English Premier League.
Spanish-language Scottish football website Rincon Escoces reported on Friday that the Eagles were keen on a move for the player.
The Daily Record reported last month that the player’s preferred destination should he leave Ibrox was the top-flight in England, with Eintracht Frankfurt cooling their interest as a result.
The Colombia international was in lethal form for the Gers last season, scoring 30 goals in all competitions, more than any other player in the country.
Jermain Defoe replaced him towards the tail-end of last season and it remains to be seen who Steven Gerrard’s first-choice striker will be going forward into the new season.
These supporters have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the exit rumours…
Be gutted to see him go, I hope to god we put a sell on fee on any deal, he will go for MEGA money in a year or two

Our best player since Jelavic. Reports up here saying £12m, which is a joke of a figure. Would be happy with £20m, if he is to leave.
Plays on the edge, which the incompetent refs up here didn’t understand. Will become a top top striker.

The incompetence of officials up here in Scotland is incredible and they are on the verge of ruining Alfredo. I really don’t want to see him go but if he does he will be a great addition to any squad. He’s as strong as an ox and would give any defender a run for there money ??

Apparently, Crystal Palace have made contact about Alfredo Morelos. I’d like no less than HALF of the money received for Wilfried Zaha please @CPFC

Would be a tremendous loss for Rangers – his goals were priceless last season for us.

Id take 15-20 m for him. Great talent and has so much potential. Scoring record speaks for itself but he is also a creater of chances with his strength, movement and skill. He does have discipline issues but they are greatly overexaggerated up here. He is refereed differently.
